Tea: Cheese, Walnut and Pear Sandwiches

1/2 cup toasted walnuts, chopped very fine
4 tablespoons cream cheese
2 tablespoons blue cheese
1/2 ripe pear, cored
6 slices of 7-grain bread
butter


Place both cheeses in small bowl and mash with fork until combined
Slice pear into 12 thin slices
Spread each bread slice with thin coating of butter
Divide cheese among three slices of bread and spread gently
Sprinkle tablespoon of nuts over cheese
Place four pear slices on each slice of bread
Top with remaining bread, trim crusts and cut into fourths
