Chickpea Chat

1/2 cup yogurt
2 tomatoes, seeded and diced
2/3 cup cilantro
1 small sweet onion, finely diced
2 jalapenos, minced
1/4 teaspoon tumeric
19 oz. chickpeas, drained and rinsed
salt and pepper to taste


Combine all ingredients and chill one hour.
Serve with papadums, bread, or in leaf cups.
