2 tablespoons butter
? cup grated Gruyere or cheddar.
Cut 2 potatoes lengthwise almost the whole way through, but still attached at the bottom.
Combine 2 tablespoons butter and ? cup grated Gruyere or cheddar.
Force cheese mixture into the slit and wrap each potato with foil.
Place on grill and cover with grill lid or tent of foil.
Grill 60-90 minutes, turning occasionally.
They are done when they feel soft.
These can be made in the coals of a campfire as well.
