1/4 cup unsalted butter
3 Bosc pears
3 1/2 tablespoons honey
3 tablespoons pine nuts
pinch of sea salt
4 ounces artisan cheese of choice
Warm butter over medium high heat. Saute pears until they begin to brown. Drizzle with honey and continue sauting, adding water as needed to keep mixture
from drying out (about 12 minutes). Place pears cut side up on platter. Top with cheese.
Return caramel sauce to medium high heat. Add pine nuts and salt. Cook 2 minutes. Spoon sauce over pears to serve.
