Beer-Baked Shrimp

1/2 cup beer, allowed to go flat
1 tablespoon oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 teaspoon chili powder
1 teaspoon ground cumin
2 drops Tabasco sauce
salt and pepper
1 1/4 pounds large shrimp, peeled and deveined
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
1 cup long grain white rice, cooked

In 9 x 13 baking dish, mix all ingredients except shrimp, parsley, and rice. Add shrimp and mix again. Marinate 1 hour a room temperature, turning occasionally.

Heat oven to 425. In the same dish, bake shrimp, uncovered, about 10 minutes, or until they turn pink.

Spoon over rice and sprinkle with parsley.
