Broiled Figs with Gorgonzola and Honey

12 ripe figs
1 cup crumbled Gorgonzola
raw honey

Heat broiler.

Slice figs in half and place them face down in a cast iron skillet. Place under hot broiler until brown.

Turn over and broil the other side for a couple of minutes until browned.

Place figs in a bowl, sprinkle with Gorgonzola, and drizzle with honey.
